I have decided to steer clear form working on the website today so I can figure out what I’m going to put in the media section. I really wish I had an assistant or better yet an apprentice to tag along with me so I’d have someone that could take some pictures and video while I’m performing. I would love to be able to hire someone but that’s not in the budget (like I have a budget). LOL
I love being a performer, that’s the fun part, but it is also a business, and that’s the part that is sometimes hard to do. When you are your own boss, you set the hours, you pay the bills, you handle disputes, that’s the juggling act that goes on that no one see’s.
When a lull hit’s and there aren’t any gig’s you have to find other ways to make sure the bills get paid. For me that way is driving for Lyft and Uber. Being a driver is fun too, the draw back though is al the miles you must put on your car. Lyft and Uber each have some perks associated with them, like discounts on gas, and oil changes and things like that.
I’m trying to decide if I want to drive today since nothing has come along far as gigs are concerned, but I may just wait and drive tomorrow through the week-end.
